Swap and Mend guidelines

Published by:

A couple of guidelines – Please donate respectfully. If it’s clearly trash try and recycle it if possible. If you’re not sure ask one of our volunteers for guidance. Please don’t leave items before Swap and Mend opens. It could obstruct pathways or the event might have been cancelled. Another thing, cups of tea are almost compulsory!

We are joined again by the wonderful Fram Fix. Find them in their fixing tent and see if they can help bring your broken item back to life! You can also speak to them about Volunteering. The Fram Fix team are still desperately looking for a permanent home, can you help?

Can you aid our period poverty project? It runs from 2 locations in Framlingham. Inside the Food Share Shed and from inside the FAYAP Centre. You can leave donations with volunteers at Swap and Mend. The supplies are accessible at any time to anyone in The Food Share Shed. The FAYAP centre supplies are accessible to young people at Thomas Mills High School and anyone else who uses the Centre.

Swap and Mend Tomorrow

Published by:

The June Swap and Mend is tomorrow. Saturday 8th June
@ Framlingham Unitarian Meeting Hall (next to the library). 9.30- 1pm.

As you may know we store items between Swap and Mends and then volunteers transport these to and from the Meeting Hall. We could do with some more volunteers to do this either with a van or a roomy car. Collection is from the edge of Fram from 8.30 and taken from the venue back again at around 1pm. Anyone able to help please contact via the website. With more volunteers the rota would come round less often.
